What is your cancellation policy?

We understand things change and you may need to cancel a reservation. You can cancel your reservation at any time. Please be sure to communicate directly with our staff regarding cancellations (an email or voicemail does not confirm cancellations). If you cancel any time up to twelve hours prior to your chauffeur’s scheduled departure, any deposits will be retained, but there will be no additional fee. If you cancel within twelve hours of your chauffeur’s scheduled departure, 50% of the base rate will be billed. If you cancel within three hours of your chauffeur’s scheduled departure, 100% of the base rate will be billed. If you cancel after your chauffeur leaves the garage, you will be billed 100% of the trip charges, including gratuity, tolls and other applicable fees. These policies vary for prom and wedding service.

How do I handle the gratuity for the chauffeur?

You may handle gratuity either directly with your chauffeur as a cash tip, or arrange for it to be included in the total billing. Industry standard gratuity is 15% to 20% of the base rate. We leave the gratuity to your discretion, with the exception of prom packages, where gratuity is included in the total.

Can I pay cash for the trip?

Please let us know in advance if you plan to pay for the trip in cash and know a credit card is still required in order to book. Cash is accepted by the driver and will be applied to your trip. If the reservation cost exceeds the amount given, additional charges may be billed to the credit card on file.

How do I reserve a limousine?

Please give us a call at 800-646-0068 or 207-883-0222 to make your reservation. New customers will need to provide us with contact information and a credit card for billing. Established customers may need to update their information if there are any changes. Our limousine service requires a $100 nonrefundable deposit to book, with the balance billed after the reservation is completed. All other reservations will be billed after the reservation is complete (with the exception of wedding and prom service). If you would prefer to pay by check or cash, a valid credit card is still required to keep on file. This credit card will not be billed so long as the reservation is adequately paid by another method.

How do I know what size limousine is best for my needs?

Our staff will help work with you to determine what vehicle will suit your needs. We follow standard ratings in determining the number of passengers each vehicle can accommodate. Our fleet is as follows: sedans seat up to 3 passengers; SUVs and our stretch limousine seats up to 6 passengers; super stretch limousines seat up to 9 passengers; vans and our Navigator limousine seats up to 14 passengers; our Escalade limousine seats up to 20 passengers; and our shuttle bus seats up to 23 passengers. While these numbers reflect full capacity of the vehicles, please consider the group you’re traveling with. You may want to subtract 2 from the above numbers (except sedans) to feel most comfortable.

If you are traveling, please consider the size and amount of luggage your party has. Our limousines have the same trunk capacity as our sedans, so if you have a larger group traveling with a lot of luggage, an SUV or van may be better suited for your needs.

What is your minimum hourly requirement?

Sedans and SUVs have a one hour minimum. The shuttle bus and executive Sprinters have a two hour minimum. Limousines have a three hour minimum booking. Our 1962 Bentley has a two hour minimum and is available from May to October. Prom service has a four minimum for all vehicles. Rental time is calculated from when we leave our facility in Scarborough until we return.

When do my charges begin and end when renting a limousine?

All of our reservations start and end at our garage in South Portland. When making a reservation, our staff will best estimate the time needed for the transportation required and provide you with a quote. Final charges will be determined after the trip is complete (with the exception of wedding and prom service).

What are your hours of operation?

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our office staff is available to assist you from 7:00am to 7:00pm Mondays through Fridays and 8:00am to 3:00pm Saturdays. If you call our office during normal business hours, one of our reservations specialists will gladly help you. If you need to book transportation and our office is closed, you will be directed to call our emergency after hours line and our on-call manager will assist you.
