RESERVATION
POLICIES
Reservations
Advanced reservations are appreciated but we are also available to
go “on demand” in many cases. Reservations can be made
by calling 800-646-0068. For airline reservations be sure to have
your detailed flight information so Maine Limousine can track your
incoming flight. For weddings, night-on-the-town or any other reservation
please have your timeline, pick up and drop off information so we can be sure
your transportation needs are met in a timely manner.
Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of each service. Weddings and
proms are to be paid in full 10 days prior to event. Reservations
made for airport pick ups and drop offs are charged at the time
of your reservation unless you have a corporate account with
Maine Limousine. All payments can be made by cash, check (personal
checks must be received 10 days prior to trip), Master Card,
Visa, American Express or Discover. All reservations must
have a credit card number on file, even if paying by cash or
check. All checks should be made out to Maine Limousine Service.

Deposits
A valid credit card number is required for all reservations. Deposits
are required for all weddings, nights on the town, proms, etc. Deposits
are non-refundable. Cash can be paid at the time of service and must
be paid at the beginning of the trip. Any overtime will be collected
at the time the overtime begins.
Gratuities
Gratuities are not included in our pricing. Customary gratuity is
18%-20% of the trip fare. Gratuity should be based upon service excellence.
Greeting
Locations
Your vehicle and chauffeur will be waiting for you outside the terminal
building at the designated Limousine Stand. Chauffeurs must remain
with their vehicle. Your vehicle will be curbside, at the designated
Limousine Stand 15 minutes after the confirmed landing time of your
flight. This will allow ample time for you to collect your luggage
and locate the Limousine Stand. If you cannot locate the Limousine
Stand, or your vehicle, please contact Maine Limousine immediately
at 800-646-0068.
Extra
Charges
Times are estimated and may not include some charges incurred during
the performance of the trips, which may include but are not limited to: 1.
Early/Late hour fees 2. Extra stops 3. Parking 4. Waiting time charged
for, but not limited to: lost baggage, incorrect flight information,
weather or traffic delays 5. Overtime beyond trip estimate.
The
trip time is based on the chauffeur's time of departure from our location
until the return to our location.
AIRPORTS
- The filing of lost luggage reports or excessive delays in debarking
may result in wait time charges being assessed. Our chauffeurs
will check the arrival time before leaving our location. Maine
Limousine Service is not responsible for incorrect flight information
received from the passenger, booking agent or airline, on-line or
automated phone information. Wait time will commence 30 minutes
after the posted arrival time of domestic flights and 45 minutes after
the posted arrival of international flights. Wait time charges
are based on vehicle's regular hourly rate.
Delays
If a flight is delayed due to weather, air traffic or other mechanical
issue, a vehicle and chauffeur will remain at the airport unless notified
and instructed otherwise. The appropriate wait time charges will apply.
CANCELLATION
POLICY: Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled vehicle
departure subject to a $25 scheduling fee. Cancellations within
3 hours of scheduled departure time will be charged 1/2 trip fare
plus gratuity. No-shows and/or cancellations after scheduled
vehicle departure will be charged full fare, including gratuity and
any applicable wait time by the chauffeur.
NOTE:
Cancellations or changes CANNOT be made by email, voice message or
fax within 24 hours of reservation departure time without a phone
conversation with a dispatcher. An emergency number is given
during non-business hours.
Snow/Storm
Procedures
Maine Limousine Service will make every attempt to follow a client’s
flight itinerary during severe weather events. If a flight is cancelled
due to weather concerns and Maine Limousine does not receive notice
from/about the travelers within 1.5 hours after the original scheduled
pick up time, Maine Limousine will release the vehicle and chauffeur
from the pick up location and the full trip fare, plus wait time and
gratuity will be charged.
Smoking
is prohibited by law in livery vehicles and is grounds for early
termination of trip with no refund. There is a minimum $250 fee for extra ordinary cleanup (i.e. vomit, smoking)
